Here's how it works in 3 steps

Beat the Entry Challenge
To join our Script Writing course, you'll have to beat the entry challenge.
The challenge is to send us a 1-page application cover letter in the form of a script in English.
Email your letter to with your names and phone number.
step 2
Be in Top 10 & Join the Course
The writers of the 10 best letters in the entry challenge will be invited to join our next course.
The course will have 10 writing sessions and 1 final event.
Your tutor will be UK author and university teacher Tom Phillips, who'll take you on a creative trip you'll never forget.

Write & Win
Perks & Awards
At the final event, we'll celebrate your progress and masterpieces.
We'll also give 3 awards: Best Script Award, Writers' Award & Readers' Award.

How to Structure Your Cover Letter
1 title page + 1 script page
Title page
Your cover letter's Title page needs to include the following:
Title
The author's names
Script setting and time
Character(s) with short description
The author's email and phone number
Script page
In the form of a script, write a single-page application cover letter on things like why you want to join the course, what you hope to get out of it, where you see yourself now as a writer, where you’d like to be, etc.
It can be a monologue or dialogue, epic or intimate, realist or fantastical. You can be the main character or have other characters talk about you.
It's all up to you, as long as it fits the, we admit, weird cover-letter-script form. You've got only 1 page for the script, so make it count.

That'll give you up to 3000 characters with spaces & a very authentic look.
