The automatic writing turned out quite involuntary mythological for me ;)) The 6 words - mother, wisdom, sharpen, carnivores, newborn, womb.
*
the carnivores
of my mother's womb
sharpened their wisdom
long before i was born
now i need to smell their bright tracks
back
to the first water as a newborn i was bathed in
and call myself out
of my mother's womb
Interesting result of the automatic writing exercise – how those words appeared in the exercise and form such a suggestive group when you took them from it. And that does, as you say, give the resulting poem a strong mythological flavour – something archetypal, which I suppose is connected with the way automatic writing taps into the subconscious. I very much the paradox at the end too – ‘call myself out/of my mother’s womb’.
