My keys are here and so are you my dear unfortunately, I have gone away the rain and storms appear to me to be impossible to bear enough to stay
the bus stop houses faceless multitudes of stayer-putters bound with conviction to homes and jobs and hence their turpitude - no time for them to fight their addictions
Aboard the bus I sit and remember no one in China should ever forget this one man, the brave freedom defender his bags were never any real threat
the sea is endless blue here by the shore the keys you keep, I don't need anymore
I like the way you vary full and half rhymes in this – so that it moves away from quite strong, firm rhymes like ‘away’ and ‘stay’ into half rhymes like ‘conviction’ and ‘addictions’ and ‘remember’ and ‘defender’ before returning to the much firmer/stronger ‘forget’ and ‘threat’, ‘shore’ and ‘anymore’. The second couple of lines of the first stanza seem a little less well-worked than the rest so maybe have another look at those?
